The Boulder Dash 5k was first established in 2010. It was meant to offer everyday Dawsonville residents and serious runners alike a way to take on a new challenge while offering exciting views. As you run the Boulder Dash 5k, you’ll traverse a hard rock quarry, seeing ancient rock deposits and the incredible equipment that’s used to process the rocks.
At the end of the race is the Martin Marietta Spring Fling, which has family activities, live music, and food and beverages available. So, you can challenge yourself with the exciting Boulder Dash 5k, then enjoy a fun and relaxing event after the race!
Registering for the Boulder Dash 5k is simple! There’s no need to drive around Johns Creek or anywhere else since registration can be completed online. To sign up for the event, visit the registration page on the Boulder Dash 5k website. For kids 10 years old and under, registration is $15. Registration for teenagers and adults is $40.
A lot goes into putting on this event, and Lou Sobh Honda is proud to be one of the many sponsors of this race! Sponsors have different roles in the 5k, and our role is the packet pick-up sponsor. We’re in charge of making sure that people involved in the dash know where to start, what the following events are, where the race starts and ends, and other important details.
