Plan a Trip to Suwanee Fest

The annual Suwanee Fest is one of the most anticipated and well-attended events in the Cumming area. This “Celebration of Community” is held in the beautiful Town Center Park at 370 Buford Highway in Suwanee, GA, and features lively entertainment, nearly 200 vendors and exhibitors, and a slew of fun activities for the whole family, not to mention the traditional parade. Suwanee Fest 2019 will take place on September 21 and 22, rain or shine, and we here at Lou Sobh Honda encourage everyone from Alpharetta to Johns Creek to plan on joining in the festivities.

Parade

On Saturday, September 21 at 9 a.m., the traditional one-mile parade down Main Street into Town Center Park kicks off Suwanee Fest 2019. Prizes will be awarded to the best floats in a variety of categories.

Even if you’re not a member of an official parade group, local community members and families can join in the fun as part of the Red Wagon Brigade. Just decorate your wagon, bicycle, stroller, or wheelchair in patriotic red, white, and blue, and join in the parade.

Exhibitors

Suwanee Fest features a wide array of exhibitors including craftspeople, fine artists, and food vendors. You’ll find everything from jewelry and unique hand-crafted items, to pottery, pizza, ice cream, and BBQ.

Entertainment

One of the highlights of the Suwanee Festival is the entertainment. On the stage and throughout Town Center Park, dance groups, acrobats, and musicians (both solo artists and bands) will delight festival-goers of all ages.

Fun Zone

Suwanee Fest offers fun for the whole family, and in the Fun Zone you’ll find a wide range of free activities for children, as well as traditional rides, inflatables, games, face-painting, and more! Tickets for rides and games cost between $1.00 and $5.00, and ride tickets sales will end 30 minutes prior to closing time.
